10 – Franz Schubert
Franz Schubert (1797-1828) was an Austrian composer that lived for only 32 years, but he will live eternally in people’s hearts through his music. Appreciation of his compositions while he was alive was limited to a relatively small circle of admirers in Vienna, but interest in his work increased significantly in the decades following his death.
He wrote seven symphonies, operas, incidental music,as well as chamber and piano music.
